God I just love Lestrade.

And I hate how at the end of Reichenbach, he’s just totally screwed. 

NO. I want him to be happy, dammit! That’s ALL I want.

I was just having a discussion about this with myself.

When I really like a character, I want them happy in an unbelievable way, but there’s always something keeping them from it and it breaks my heart.

Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors (I kind of like the movie ending because of this, but I’m still pissed they didn’t use the real one).

Joel from MST3K (He must have been so lonely in that sense, plus those movies…)

and now Lestrade. I really hope his life is not completely fucked.
